The Empowered Leadership Journey

Growth is easier / possible when your
whole team is carrying it.

One programme.

A whole team that leads with ownership, accountability, and the confidence to carry what growth actually demands.

This is how you build that team.

THE PROBLEM

"We have good people. Smart people. People who care. So why does leading still feel this hard?"

  • Your leaders are technically strong, but they're managing rather than leading. The capability is there. The ownership isn't.

  • Hard conversations keep not happening. Expectations get assumed. Feedback gets softened until it means nothing.

  • You're the one holding everything together — fielding escalations that should never have reached you, carrying weight your team is ready to share.

  • You've tried the leadership book. The offsite. The coaching session. Something shifts for a week, then snaps back to the default.

  • The worst part? Everyone is trying. Nobody is coasting. These patterns have nothing to do with effort. They're wired in, and nobody named them until now.

The gap between a team that waits to be directed and a team that takes real ownership is rarely about talent.

It's about how people have learned to lead, and whether anyone has ever shown them a different way.

By the end of this journey, your team won't just have learned frameworks. They'll have practiced them, in real situations, on real challenges, over eight weeks, until leading with ownership starts to feel like the natural way rather than the effortful one.

01

Real ownership takes root. People stop waiting to be told and start deciding. Escalations drop because your team trusts itself to hold the work.

03

Less drama, more momentum. When people lead from empowerment rather than reactivity, the friction that quietly costs everyone time and energy starts to disappear.

02

Hard conversations happen. On time, with clarity, without the fallout. Accountability becomes something the team holds collectively, not something one person enforces.

04

Growth becomes measurable. A benchmarking assessment taken at start, midpoint, and end shows your team exactly what has shifted, across 10 leadership competencies.

WHAT CHANGES
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
I’ve done leadership training before. This is the first time I’ve actually changed. There’s a specific moment in Session 2 where I saw my own pattern so clearly I couldn’t unsee it. That was six months ago. I still haven’t gone back.
— Senior Director, technology company, live cohort participant
The Drama Triangle sounds like a simple idea. It is. That’s what makes it devastating. Within two weeks of Session 1, three members of my leadership team had used the language in real conversations, without me prompting them.
— Founder and CEO, growth-stage company
I kept waiting for it to feel like a course. It never did. It felt like being in a room with two people who knew exactly what was happening in my team and had a plan for it.
— VP of Product, Series B company, live cohort participant

THE JOURNEY

Eight sessions over eight weeks. Each one builds on the last. Each one applies directly to what's happening right now — in your team, in your conversations, in the moments where ownership either shows up or doesn't.

00 Kickoff + Benchmarking

Set your intention. Take the leadership self-assessment. Know where you're starting from.

01 Creating the Conditions for Change

Understand the dynamics that quietly erode trust and ownership in teams. Name your own patterns before they name you.

02 Leading Through Empowerment

Move from reactive to intentional. Three specific roles that shift how you lead — and how much ownership your team takes as a result.

03 Harnessing Curiosity to Lead & Grow

Stop solving and start unlocking. The coaching skills that help your people think for themselves and own the answer.

04 Managing Expectations to Drive Growth

Clarity is kindness. The 4C's framework for setting expectations that stick and building the shared accountability that follows.

05 Giving Productive Feedback for Growth

Feedback that creates forward momentum rather than defensiveness — and builds the kind of trust where people take ownership of their growth.

06 Driving Progress & Alignment

The rhythms and rituals that keep a team aligned and accountable — so momentum doesn't depend on one person holding it together.

07 Integration & Celebration

See how far you've come. Build the consistency practice that keeps ownership alive long after the programme ends.

THREE LIVE GATHERINGS

In-person by default. Virtual for distributed or international teams. Facilitated by Anique and Leah.

Kickoff gathering
Half-day. Sets the tone, creates team connection, and makes the self-paced work feel purposeful.

Midpoint gathering
Half-day. The tools have landed in real life. Leaders come together to share what's working and what's hard.

Celebration gathering
Half-day. The final assessment is in. See the transformation and set what comes next.

HOW IT WORKS

Video-led sessions

Short teaching from Anique and Leah, 3 to 7 minutes, intercut with structured solo reflection. It feels like they're in the room with you rather than broadcasting at you.

Self-paced, around real work

Each session is around 60 minutes. No weeks off work, no two-day offsites. It fits around the job, which means it gets done and the learning applies immediately.

Premium workbook

A single downloadable PDF covering all 8 sessions. The workbook is a keeper. Leaders bring it to the live gatherings and return to it long after the programme ends.

Benchmarking assessment

30 questions across 10 leadership competencies. Taken three times. The before-and-after data makes the transformation concrete, not just felt but visible.

FOUNDING COHORT PRICING

We're opening our first cohorts at a founding rate.

Everything included, in exchange for a testimonial when you're through it. This rate is available for the first three cohorts only.

ABOUT ANIQUE & LEAH

Your Guides

We help teams build calm momentum through clarity, trust, and empowered leadership habits

We’re practical and human: we work with the system, not just the symptoms

We build leadership capability that spreads through the team, not dependency on one person

Co-Founder

Co-founder of Gather and Grow. For ten years Anique has worked with leadership teams across technology, finance, and growth-stage companies — not on strategy, but on the human dynamics underneath it. She sees what's actually driving the friction, names it clearly, and gives leaders somewhere to go with it. That combination of insight and practicality is rare. It's also exactly what this programme is built on.

Co-founder of Gather and Grow. Where most people see operational complexity, Leah sees a clarity problem waiting to be solved. She works with fast-growing founders to build the rhythms, roles, and decision-making structures that let teams carry the work with real confidence. In the room, she brings the same quality she builds into organisations: structure that actually sticks, and space for the harder conversations.

Ready to build a team that
owns its growth?

Founding cohort spots are limited. If this sounds like your team, we'd love a 30-minute conversation to see if the timing and fit are right.

Founding rate closes after the first three cohorts. Full rate applies from intake four onwards.

A sequence of workshops that builds an empowered leadership culture

This is not a one-off training. It’s a paced journey designed to build shared habits over time.

How it works:

Format: Live workshops + light between-session practice

Cadence: Typically delivered over several weeks (we’ll tailor this based on your team)

Designed for: Leadership teams navigating complexity, growth, and change

  • Kickoff workshop: Establish shared intentions, agreements, and team commitments. Set the tone for honest leadership and collective buy-in.

Benchmarking self-assessment: A “you vs you” baseline across 10 leadership competencies to track growth over time.

  • Build trust as the foundation for transformation. Learn to spot reactivity early using the Drama Triangle, and interrupt unhelpful patterns (for you and your collaborators) before they spread.

  • Shift the team from reactivity into ownership.

Leaders leave able to name unhelpful dynamics in real time and choose a more empowered response, creating cleaner accountability, stronger trust, and more forward momentum (without rescuing, blaming, or shutting down hard conversations).

  • Unlock better thinking and stronger ownership through curiosity-led leadership.

Leaders leave able to shift conversations from advice and assumptions into clarity, insight, and action, so people feel trusted to think and move work forward.

  • Create clarity that travels through the whole system.

Leaders leave able to set and reset expectations in a way that reduces rework, strengthens accountability, and helps cross-functional work move faster with less friction.

  • Make feedback a normal, usable engine for growth.

Leaders leave able to hold accountability with care and clarity, so performance improves without defensiveness, shame, or avoidance.

What’s Included:

What you’ll walk away with

You’ll walk away with the mindset, tools, and practices that make empowered leadership not just possible—but sustainable.

Specifically, you can expect:

  • A shared language for what’s happening in the system—and how to shift it in real time

  • Clearer expectations and cleaner accountability across the team

  • Coaching, feedback, and conversation practices that reduce defensiveness and increase ownership

  • Simple rhythms that create alignment and traction (especially under pressure)
